Welcome
Hello and welcome. Over the past 15 years I have provided companies with support in the property management industry. I've taken that knowledge and am placing it here in the hope that it will provide you with the tools you need before making a decision in where you will rent or own your next apartment, condo or home.

Do you have a right to see the unit before signing the lease?
Yes, you do... Before you sign a lease to rent an apartment or home, be sure to see the unit before hand. Do not get trapped into a lengthy lease and you're not satisfied with your new home. Make sure what you want is what you get. It is costly to back out of a lease once it's signed.

When Peggy and I were just starting out and renting apartments, we made sure to see the exact unit we were considering. We checked the water, heat and AC, and made sure it was right for us. Addie, you are right; it is hard to get out of a lease once you sign it. Better to check things out first!
